According to the 1950 census she lived at "505 Eastwoods Road" but when I searched for that address, it puts it right at the edge of the Siscowit Reservoir... so I looked that up and found "In 1972, the Stamford Water Company dredged the pond and rerouted Eastwoods Road to expand and improve the reservoir." Based on that and the size of houses that show up for anything on that road, I suspect her house is gone now? You might know or remember more about the area to figure out where she lived...
A very interesting life. I feel like her life story would make an excellent book or even a movie. Sadly, based on an interview with her published in spring 1972, in which she mentioned hoping to travel to Iran to check out the wildflowers (and rugs) there, I don't think she realized she would die before the end of that year.
I spent my childhood summers on Pound Ridge! I wonder where she lived….

I think it is gone…. Beautiful area
For some reason this is the most interesting one yet (at least to me)! What a life.
